The 2017 Ford Transit is available in three spacious models: Van, Passenger Wagon XL, and Passenger Wagon XLT.


Drivers have their choice of three available engines in the new Ford Transit.
The standard 3.7-liter V6 engine produces 275 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque.
The available 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine delivers 310 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque.
The available 3.2-liter Power Stroke Turbo Diesel five-cylinder engine pumps out 185 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque.
All engines come mated to six-speed automatic transmission. The Ford Transit is capable of towing up to 7,500 lbs. when properly equipped.


The new 2017 Transit offers a sleek look with a low ride height that makes it perfect for loading and unloading. The new model is available in a variety of roof heights to meet the needs of modern businesses. The versatile interior allows drivers to easily insert and remove large items. Stylish features, like a black grille with black surround, makes the Transit easily recognizable on the road.
All three models are available in Regular, Long, and Extended lengths in order to meet driver and passenger needs.


The Ford Transit boasts a maximum cargo capacity that ranges from 246 cu ft. to 487 cu ft. The latest model offers a maximum payload capacity of 4,650 lbs. and features ladder racks for businesses on the move. The new Transit seats up to 15 passengers comfortably as well.


Safety comes standard in the 2017 Ford Transit. A rear view camera with Trailer Hitch Assist makes reverse and hooking up cargo a breeze. A number of airbags offers increased protection for passengers. AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control and Trailer Stability Control keeps the Transit on the road.


The 3.5-liter EcoBoost and 3.7-liter V6 engines are rated at an EPA-estimated 15 city/19 hwy mpg*.
The 3.2-liter Power Stroke Turbo Diesel five-cylinder engine has not been rated by the Environmental Protection Agency.
