The Ford Explorer is designed to be an adventure-ready SUV for you and your family. For the model year, it’s all-new with more interior space, stronger capabilities, and most notably, lots of advanced technology features.
In 2020, all Explorer models come standard with the advanced Ford Co-Pilot360™ suite of safety technology. These features will constantly monitor your surroundings to help protect you. The suite includes BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System), a Rear View Camera, a Lane-Keeping System, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Auto High-Beam Headlamps.
Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist+
For even more safety on the road, this available package adds Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with a stop-and-go feature that helps you keep pace with the surrounding traffic. It also includes Evasive Steering Assist.
SYNC® 3 is the latest infotainment system from Ford. It features easy to use voice-activated controls that respond to natural voice patterns. With the available 10.1-inch screen, it is even more impressive and can be used in a split-screen format.
FordPass™ Connect with 4G LTE Wi-Fi®
With FordPass™ Connect, your Explorer turns into a mobile Wi-Fi® hotspot that allows up to 10 devices to connect at once. The hotspot can be used up to 50 feet away from the Explorer. You can keep track of your data use through the FordPass™ system.
Everyone in the Explorer can keep their devices fully charged with up to nine available power outlets. This includes USBs, 12-volt outlets, USCs, 110-volt outlets, and regular plugs. There is also an available wireless charging pad that helps eliminate some of the clutter on your center console.
Auto-Dimming Driver Side Mirror
Have you ever been blinded by another driver’s headlights reflecting in your side mirrors? These mirrors will automatically dim when they detect another vehicle’s headlights, so you can stay focused on the road ahead.
