October promises a bounty of festivals and concerts, from the opening of SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular to the month-long Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. And the festivities don’t stop through the fall season — there’s something to do just about every day in Orlando until the end of the year.
Orlando is the perfect place for Halloween activities throughout October, whether you’re looking for something family-friendly or more adult-oriented.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place every day until Halloween night, while Universal’s genuinely frightening Halloween Horror Nights are great for the older crowd. Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND, Halloween at Cranes Roost Park, and Winter Garden’s Halloweenfest are just a few of the many spookily festive events taking place in October.
Winter and Holiday Events
We may not get a white Christmas here in Orlando, but we do have some of the most magical Christmas and winter-themed events around.
LEGOLAND will host Christmas Bricktacular, Universal will deck the halls of Hogwarts for a special Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter event, and Bok Tower Gardens will host daily Holiday Home Tours from late November to early January.
Even with Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas coming up, Orlando has plenty to do outside of the holidays this fall and winter. Sesame Street is coming to the CFE Arena Nov. 3 and 4, and The Florida Citrus Parade will march down South Orange Avenue on Dec. 29.
