Adventure awaits in the all-new 2021 Ford Bronco. This outdoorsy vehicle is built to traverse the many landscapes of Florida, from hills and dunes, to beach weekends with friends, to camping trips with the family. The Bronco is everything you could want for fun in the outdoors.
After challenging off-road endurance races and endurance tests in the Johnson Valley desert, the 2021 Bronco has proven that it’s ready for anything. It’s built with class-leading off-roading features, like an 11.6-inch ground clearance, and the ability to drive through up to 33.5 inches of water. Bronco also has the best-in-class departure and breakover, meaning it’s ready to handle the rugged angles and drops of rocky terrains.
To aid you in tackling a range of outdoor surfaces, the Bronco is equipped with five standard drive modes: Sand, Slippery, Sport, Eco, and Normal. There are two additional modes in the Badlands trim, which switches Sport out for Baja, for a total of eight modes varying by trim.
Segment-first transmission technologies are what help the Bronco provide an exceptional balance between athletic capability and efficiency. You can choose between turbocharged EcoBoost® engines like the available 2.7-liter EcoBoost®, which is expected to deliver the best-in-class 310 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. The standard 2.3-liter EcoBoost® has the best-in-class 310 lb-ft of standard torque, plus 270 horsepower.
Bronco is the first in its segment to offer a seven-speed manual transmission with the 2.3-liter engine, which adds a crawl ratio of 94.75:1 to the list of class-leading features. There’s also a segment-first 10-speed automatic transmission that provides excellent control in low gears.
To enhance the thrill of each adventurous outing, the 2021 Bronco gets you even closer to the outdoors with its removable roof and doors. Four-door models come with a standard soft top and a class-exclusive removable hardtop middle panel, which lets you create an open-air ride for the second row without having to take off the rear cap. Class-exclusive frameless doors are easy to remove and stow on board.
